MAJOR LIFE UPDATE ALERT!!!!
hey what's up guys, yes- YA GIRL HAS GOT A JOB.
that's right everybody. this girl, ya girl, is gonna be busy with her life from now on and will start working on her new job which is still not gonna be disclosed for now because I'm hella not sure if I can disclose it yet. BUT YEAH!
So let me tell you how it all happened.
At first, I was gonna apply at 2 other locations but declined because of 2 totally different reasons:
1.) I suck. okno. actually yeah, I suck as a human being and I'm still sick from this whole week shebang so, at the morning of my first interview, I couldn't get up and I couldn't think straight - and the room wouldn't' stop spinning so I decided to sleep it off.
2.) the pay was too low for a really high marked up place so yeah.
anyways! I got this new job today, I went as a walk-in and it went pretty well.
I woke up pretty early, around 4 am after sleeping at around 2 am. I slept over at Jam's house because I thought that I'd go apply at the #2 location but that backfired so I decided to leave early.
But the night before, I and Jam talked about applying in Santa Rosa which is like 5-10 minutes away from my house (give or take without traffic) so I decided to just walk in and apply. Which mind you isn't like me!! as an INFJ with serious major anxiety issues, I don't do well with just walking up to someone or a business and being all like 'hI IM HERE TO BE PART OF YOUR WORLD'. It takes a lot of courage and energy on my part to simply say hi to people in the morning.
so it was a big deal. anyways, I drove to the nearest mall and parked my E-Bike there cause let's face it, I'm too chicken to drive it all the way there so I took a jeepney (thank god I had change) and arrived there around 11 am. I mentally prepared myself as I was about to walk in the building and as soon as I reach the lobby there were people standing there waiting for me. Well not me, me but people applying. They said the company name and I responded immediately with a yes and they escorted me upstairs to the 2nd floor where I would apply. BUT BEFORE THE GOOD STUFF LET ME JUST SAY that I am not a college graduate, STAY IN SCHOOL KIDS, and I was only an undergraduate of BS-IT WEB DEVELOPMENT so i didn't have any good thing to put on my resume. All I put there were some skills and languages that I knew and somehow I got in pretty quick. so back to the story.
I walked in, introduced myself, handed my resume and sat down for what seemed like 2 minutes then walked back to the front desk to answer some questions, sat down a bit more then got called for an initial interview within a span of 7 minutes. THAT's QUICK EVEN FOR ME. So, you could say I was a little 'shooketh' and just stayed quiet after the interview. I sat on one of the couches and some of the applicants started asking me questions and I answered as honestly as I could.
They told me that they started applying the same day as me as well and were surprised that I got interviewed almost immediately. They told me that they took tests and that they weren't interviewed yet which baffled me. After a little while, I had my final interview with an OM (operation manager) and I did a mock call with them in front of me which was nerve-wracking and then afterwards they told me I passed and sent me straight to medical exams.
Did I mention that....
I'm gonna start working tomorrow!?!?!
I know crazy right? Which is why I'm probably gonna end my blog here. I know I have more to write but I'm crazy tired and sleepy and I want to rest so badly for tomorrow. I'll tell more about it to an extent tomorrow!!!
